Can't wait to see the final results of these grade eight animation projects. The quality of the images is outstanding. We're getting good results using the Canon ZR20 digital camcorder on stop-time. The digital video is imported into Adobe Premier, and then the clip is sped up to about 800 fps. This gets the animation moving.
After that, the movie is exported as .avi, then imported into Flash MX.
In Flash, the students will add the layers of sound.
We're using the Windows Sound Recorder as much as possible. First Class will help us move files around from one student to the next.
Flash is an excellent tool for these movies. The playback is completely resizable and plays on any PC.
