This is so amazing. The grade 8's owning the task of creating their own memory book. This is a job that I spent about 25 hours completing last year outside of class time, and now it's happening IN class time. The quality of work is outstanding. Grade eights grow up too late!
I've amassed a large collection of pics onto our school web server, where the kids can access them. They browse and save what images they want to use.
File transfer works great through upload into First Class. The kids then have access to the files to use them to build their pages using MS Publisher.
A few kids have responded to the challenge of creating original content. One student has created an awesome poetry page. Someone else is creating original artwork.
